Henry Zupanc, Quaker Valley
Zupanc began the week going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBIs in the team’s 15-2 win over Beaver Falls. He followed that game up going 3-for-3 with an RBI in the team’s 12-0 win over Beaver Falls.
Todd Kagle, Quaker Valley
Kagle collected two hits in two games this week, driving in three runs in the team’s series sweep against Beaver Falls.
David Medich, Hopewell
Medich struck out 10 batters in the team’s loss to North Catholic on Monday.
Jaxson Zahn, New Brighton
Zahn went 3-for-4, driving in three runs with a pair of doubles in the team’s 15-0 shutout over Aliquippa.
Carter Jackson, New Brighton
In game one of the doubleheader against Aliquippa, Jackson pitched two scoreless innings, striking out six, before going 2-for-3 with three RBIs in the team’s 17-0 win in game two.
Dom Pasquale, New Brighton
Pasquale collected two hits and drove in three runs in game one against Aliquippa.
Casey Bloom, New Brighton
Bloom collected three hits and six RBIs across New Brighton’s doubleheader against Aliquippa.
Jordan Keller, Ellwood City
Keller was dominant at the plate, driving in seven runs and going 2-for-4 in the team’s 23-1 win over Sto-Rox. He capped off his week with a two-hit effort with an RBI in the team’s 8-2 victory over Sto-Rox to complete the series sweep.
Jacob Biskup, Ellwood City
Biskup went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in the team's win over Sto-Rox.
Will Ciucci, Central Valley
Ciucci went a perfect 4-for-4 against Beaver Area in the team’s 8-4 win.
Daniel McIntosh, Central Valley
McIntosh went six innings, striking out seven in the team’s win over Beaver Area.
Ty Butler, Beaver Area
Butler went four innings, allowing four runs on three hits and struck out seven in the loss to Central Valley.
Kingston Krotec, Hopewell
Krotec put together a solid outing on the mound, allowing one run in 6.1 innings of work, fanning five in the team’s 8-4 over North Catholic on Tuesday.
Iseia Fields-Schulz, OLSH
Fields-Schulz pitched 5.1 innings, allowing just one hit and striking out 14 in the team’s 5-0 win over Brentwood in game one of a doubleheader.
Gino Williams, OLSH
In game two, Williams was 4-for-5, driving in six runs in the team’s 12-3 win over Brentwood.
Jacob Stanislaw, Sewickley Academy
Stanislaw began his week with a two-hit, three-RBI effort in the team’s 15-0 win over Monessen. He would cap off the week with another two-hit performance, driving in two runs in the team’s loss to Freedom Area.
Billy Pietragallo, Sewickley Academy
Pietragallo was a perfect 3-for-3, collecting four RBIs in the team’s win over Monessen.
Zach Kuntz, Freedom Area
Kuntz registered a hit with three RBIs in the team’s 13-11 win over Sewickley Academy.
Jacob Biskup, Ellwood City
Biskup recorded two hits and four RBIs in the team’s win over Sto-Rox on Friday.
Christian Lucarelli, Riverside
Lucarelli put together one of his best starts of the season against Mohawk on Wednesday as he went six innings, allowing one unearned run, on two hits, three walks and striking out 15 in the team’s 8-2 win.
Zach Hare, Riverside
Hare impressed on both sides of the plate for Riverside on Friday, helping the team pick up the series sweep over Mohawk. He pitched six innings, allowing no runs and striking out 14 batters. The senior also collected a hit and three RBIs in the 8-0 victory.
Softball
Charlotte Andrews, Sewickley Academy
The Sewickley Academy pitcher picked up two wins in the circle this week, striking out 15 in the team’s 13-1 win over Bishop Canevin, followed by another nine against Cornell.
Marie Bigi, Sewickley Academy
Bigi recorded two hits with two RBIs in the team’s win over Bishop Canevin.
Quincy Sirko, Sewickley Academy
Sirko recorded nine hits in three games this week, which included a grand-slam six RBI effort against Cornell.
Sara Schwarz, Ellwood City
Schwarz began the week going a perfect 3-for-3 against Mohawk with one RBI in the team’s 6-5 loss. She then went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, helping Ellwood City split its section games this week with a 5-3 win over Avonworth.
Lena Lucarelli, Ellwood City
Lucarelli also hit a home run in the win over Avonworth as she finished the game 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Mya Eshenbaugh, OLSH
Eshenbaugh recorded two hits, including a home run, while driving in four runs in the team’s 11-4 win over Seton LaSalle.
Charlie Bissell, Riverside
Bissell collected three hits and two RBIs in the team’s 22-1 win over New Brighton.
Danny Rosenberger, Riverside
Rosenberger tallied two hits and also drove in a run in the team’s win over New Brighton.
Ava Cummings, Riverside
Cummings was 3-for-5 with three RBIs in the team’s victory over New Brighton.
Joci Cummings, Riverside
The Riverside pitcher went four innings, allowing just one run while striking out nine against New Brighton.
Girls Lacrosse
Lucy Roig, Quaker Valley
In Roig’s first two games of the week, she recorded nine goals with three coming against Ambridge and another six versus North Catholic.
Mia Floro, Quaker Valley
After posting two goals and four assists in the team’s 15-2 win over Ambridge, Floro recorded another pair of goals against North Catholic in the team’s 15-3 victory.
Emily Reiner, Quaker Valley
The Quaker Valley goalie recorded 18 saves in the team’s 4-2 loss to Blackhawk.
Andrea Kinger, Blackhawk
After recording four goals against Aquinas Academy in the team’s 16-3 win, Kinger tallied two goals in the 4-2 victory over Quaker Valley.
Lauren Fair, Blackhawk
Fair eclipsed 100 career goals for the week as she recorded a hat-trick against Aquinas Academy.
Emily Gawley, Blackhawk
The Blackhawk goalie allowed just two goals on nine shots in the win over Quaker Valley.

Amari Jackson, Beaver Area
Jackson picked up victories in the 100 and 200-meter dashes in a meet with Hopewell and Avonworth on Monday.
